Rules of Contest for the BVB97 Jersey Giveaway
1. Organizer
The organizer of the BVB97 Jersey Giveaway is FUNDACIÓN RED DEPORTE Y COOPERACIÓN, a Spanish foundation with registered address at Plaza del Padrón, 11, 28029 Madrid, Spain. The foundation is registered with the Registro de Fundaciones del Ministerio de Trabajo y Asuntos Sociales under number 28-1.363. Its N.I.F. is G84388909.

2. Campaign, Purpose and Donation Independence
The giveaway is carried out as part of Red Deporte's donation campaign. The campaign uses an original signed Borussia Dortmund jersey from 1997 as a special campaign element to raise awareness for Red Deporte and support for the Zambia Project.
Entry into the giveaway is free. No donation or purchase is required to enter or win. Making a donation does not increase the chances of winning. Donations towards the construction of the Lusaka centre can be made through GoFundMe. Donations to Red Deporte's general programmes are independent of giveaway participation and can be made through https://redeporte.org/donaciones/.
3. No Official Organization by Borussia Dortmund
This campaign is organized by Red Deporte. It is not officially organized, conducted or administered by Borussia Dortmund unless expressly stated otherwise.
The references to Borussia Dortmund, BVB or historical events connected to the jersey are used solely to describe the prize and the campaign story.
4. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to natural persons aged 18 or older. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries, automated entries, false or incomplete information and the use of multiple identities may lead to exclusion.
Employees of Red Deporte are excluded. Persons involved in the technical, organizational or communication preparation of the campaign are not automatically excluded. However, persons directly involved in the draw, evaluation or winner confirmation may not participate.
5. Excluded Countries and Territories
Participation is only permitted where it is lawful under the applicable law. Persons residing in countries or territories where such promotions are prohibited or where local authorization, registration or licensing would be required and has not been obtained by Red Deporte are excluded.
Persons residing in countries, territories or regions that cannot be served due to applicable sanctions, embargoes, payment restrictions, shipping restrictions or other legal requirements are also excluded. This applies in particular to Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, as well as any other jurisdiction where the promotion, participation or delivery of the prize is prohibited, subject to authorization or materially restricted.
Red Deporte reserves the right to exclude entries from additional countries or regions where required for legal, tax, sanctions-related, customs, shipping or practical reasons.
6. Entry Period
The giveaway begins on 1 August 2026 at 00:00 Spanish mainland time and regularly ends on 28 May 2027 at 18:00 Spanish mainland time.
Red Deporte may extend the entry period, in particular if the campaign has not reached sufficient participation or campaign reach by the regular end date. Any extension may run until 30 November 2027 at 18:00 Spanish mainland time at the latest. In that case, the draw will take place on 2 December 2027 at 18:00 Spanish mainland time.
Any extension will be announced on the campaign website or through Red Deporte's official communication channels, in particular https://www.instagram.com/red.deporte/. Entries submitted outside the valid entry period will not be considered.
7. How to Enter
Entry takes place through the official campaign entry form. Required information includes first and last name, email address, country of residence, confirmation of the minimum age of 18, acceptance of the Rules of Contest, acceptance of the privacy notice and confirmation of donation independence.
Consent to receive further information from Red Deporte is optional, not preselected and has no effect on participation or chances of winning.
8. Prize
The prize is an original Borussia Dortmund jersey bearing the signatures of the BVB players in connection with the match on 2 December 1997. The jersey was gifted to José María García Aranda, the referee of the match, after the match on 2 December 1997.
No cash alternative, exchange or transfer to another person is permitted unless expressly approved by Red Deporte. Red Deporte does not publicly guarantee any specific market value. Internal valuation, documentation and tax obligations remain unaffected.
9. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries after the entry period has ended. The draw will be supervised by a notary. The specific notary or notarial supervision will be determined before the draw.
Red Deporte will document the draw in an appropriate manner and contact the winner by email. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Red Deporte may select an alternative winner.
Before handing over the prize, Red Deporte may request additional information where necessary to verify eligibility, identity, age, shipping feasibility or legal admissibility.
10. Delivery of the Prize
The prize will be handed over or shipped after successful contact and verification of eligibility. Shipping costs, customs duties, import charges, local taxes and other costs directly linked to shipment or import will be covered by Red Deporte to the extent they can be reasonably determined in advance and are legally permissible.
If delivery to the winner's country of residence is not possible for legal, customs, sanctions-related, shipping-related or practical reasons, Red Deporte may select an alternative winner.
11. Processing of Personal Data
Red Deporte processes participants' personal data for the purpose of carrying out the giveaway, verifying eligibility, selecting the winner, contacting the winner, documenting the campaign and, where separate consent has been given, sending further communications about Red Deporte and its projects.
Data is collected through the official entry form and automatically transferred to Salesforce. Access is limited to the responsible communication employees of Red Deporte and other expressly authorized persons where necessary for execution, documentation, technical administration or legal review.
Entry data of non-winners who have not consented to further communications will generally be deleted or anonymized 12 months after the end of the campaign unless legal retention obligations or legitimate documentation interests require otherwise. Winner data will be stored in accordance with legal, tax, accounting and documentation requirements. Donor data will be processed separately from giveaway data where technically and organizationally possible.
12. Legal Bases and Participant Rights
Processing for the giveaway is carried out for the administration of the Rules of Contest and the campaign. Processing for legal, tax or accounting obligations is carried out on the basis of the applicable legal requirements. Voluntary communications and marketing purposes are based only on separate consent.
Participants have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability under applicable data protection laws. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Privacy requests may be sent to rdc@redeporte.org.
13. Publication of the Winner
The winner will only be published with separate consent. With separate consent, Red Deporte may publish the winner's first name and country of residence. Any further publication, including full name, photo, video, interview or social media content, requires separate express consent.
14. Exclusion, Changes and Liability
Red Deporte may exclude participants who breach these Rules of Contest, provide false information, manipulate the entry process, use automated systems or attempt to influence the giveaway.
Red Deporte may modify, suspend, extend or terminate the giveaway where legal, technical, organizational, security-related or other objective reasons make this necessary. Red Deporte is liable only in accordance with applicable law. Liability for technical failures, data loss, transmission errors, unavailable websites, issues with external services, incorrect entries or inability to reach participants is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
15. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction and Contact
Spanish law applies unless mandatory consumer protection rules in the participant's country of residence provide otherwise. To the extent legally permitted, Spain shall be the place of jurisdiction for disputes related to the giveaway.
