01 — The Jersey

A piece of BVB history

In 1997, Borussia Dortmund defeated Cruzeiro in Tokyo and wrote one of the great international chapters in the club's history.

After the match, José María García Aranda, the FIFA referee of the final, received a Borussia Dortmund jersey signed by players involved in the game.

He kept it in excellent condition for almost 30 years.

From football history to
real impact

Every donation supports Red Deporte's work towards launching a Centre for children connected to street in Lusaka, Zambia.

The centre is planned as a safe and structured space where children living on the streets can access a home, education, hygiene, food, sport, care and social support.

Sport is the entry point. It helps build trust, routine, discipline and community. From there, children can receive the support they need to move towards a safer and more stable future.

Why Lusaka Matters

For Red Deporte,
Lusaka is deeply personal.

More than 25 years ago, Red Deporte began its journey in Zambia, when our first volunteers spent time with children living on the streets and saw their daily reality closely.

The Lusaka centre connects directly to where Red Deporte started — and to what we believe in: using sport as a bridge to education, dignity and opportunity.

The giveaway at a glance

Entry period
From 1 August 2026 until 28 May 2027 at 18:00 (mainland Spain time). Red Deporte may extend this period and would announce any extension on this website or through its official channels.
Who can take part
Participants must be at least 18 years old. One entry per person.
How the winner is chosen
At the close of the entry period the winner is drawn at random under notarial supervision and contacted by email. If there is no reply within 7 days, a substitute winner may be chosen.
Geographic restrictions
Entry is not permitted from countries or territories where it is not legal or where the prize cannot be shipped. The affected territories are listed in the official Rules.

We run sport-based education and development programmes — using football and other sports as an entry point to bring children structure, health, learning and social support, and to keep them connected to school and community.
